Drop 05 - Bahia 1963, the FBI Triangles, and the Gulf of Oman
PURSUE Release 05 added 41 files to the archive - 22 documents, 16 videos, and 3 images - bringing the total to 375. It introduced a new releasing body: the Executive Office of the President, whose single file (EOP-UAP-D001) is a National Aeronautics and Space Council inquiry into a November 13, 1963 incident at Bahia, Brazil. Two State Department diplomatic cables from the U.S. Embassy in Rio de Janeiro, dated November 14 and 20, 1963, cover the same Bahia incident. The FBI contributed 17 records, including eight FD-302 witness reports each paired with a digital rendering, covering triangular-craft sightings from 2002, 2011, and 2023. The Department of War added 19 files split between historical intelligence records - a 1947 review of the Scandinavian "ghost rocket" incidents, a 1947-48 Air Materiel Command report, and a 1953 film analysis - and a set of 2021 Gulf of Oman unresolved UAP reports with accompanying sensor video. The CIA added two records, a 1965 UFO report near Puerto Rico and undated briefing notes. Fourteen of the 41 files are partially redacted.
Drop 04 - Apollo 14, the Space Shuttle, and More Sensor Video
PURSUE Release 04 added 40 files to the archive - 23 videos, 14 documents, and 3 images - bringing the total to 334. It is led by 28 new Department of War records, mostly military infrared sensor videos and Range Fouler debriefs spanning the Eastern and Western United States, the Atlantic Ocean, the East and South China Seas, the Yellow Sea, and the Middle East. NASA added the first Apollo 14 debriefings in the disclosure (tied for the archive's top score of 72), two Apollo 17 crew medical debriefings, and three STS-80 Space Shuttle images of an unidentified object from 1996. The release also added two 1955 CIA memoranda on unconventional aircraft sightings, a 1949 Los Alamos conference record and a 2015 Pantex incident report from the Department of Energy, and one FBI correspondence file spanning 1967 to 1974.
Drop 03 - CIA History, Apollo 16, and the FBI Orb Files
PURSUE Release 03 added 72 files to the archive - 53 documents, 9 videos, and 10 images - bringing the total to 294. It introduced the first large batch of CIA records (18 files spanning Project Blue Book analysis, Cold War sightings, and foreign UFO programs), 29 FBI files including modern orb and triangle sightings and the 2022 Colorado Springs investigation, 11 NASA crew debriefings and astronaut interviews from the Gemini and Apollo programs (including the two Apollo 16 scientific debriefings and a Gordon Cooper interview, which joined the files tied for the archive's top score of 72), 12 Pentagon files, and the first Intelligence Community analysis and U.S. Government correspondence records in the disclosure.
Drop 02 - The Sensor-Video Release
PURSUE Release 02 added 64 files to the archive - 58 sensor and audio recordings and 6 documents - bringing the total to 222. It is dominated by the DOW-UAP-PR050-PR099 series of U.S. military infrared sensor videos, and also introduced seven NASA crew audio debriefings, three Department of Energy nuclear-complex files, and the first CIA and ODNI records in the disclosure.
Drop 01 - The Foundation Release
First public batch of the Trump administration's PURSUE program. 158 files (published as 161 CSV rows) spanning the FBI, Department of Defense, NASA, and State Department - including FBI Case 62-HQ-83894 (1947-1968), Apollo 12 and 17 lunar imagery, military encounter footage from the Mediterranean to the Indo-Pacific, and four decades of State Department cables.
